Status Not open for further replies. After last, fresh W10 bit. Windows won't find drivers. Broadcom's site says they don't don't put drivers online because they want you to use the Windows automatic update shizzle.

I took me quite some time to figure out how to make this work so I thought I put it online here so others might save a few hours of frustration. Put it on the Windows 10 or 8 or 7 machine. Expand the zip. I can only assume Windows isn't OK with distribution of these drivers because they seem to proprietary Apple, looking at the legal stuff you have to agree with before installing.

It's a "technology preview". Apple doesn't support Windows 10 in boot camp at this point. At least the networking functions will work that way. Setting custom screen resolutions is still difficult if not impossible as it doesn't work with the display drivers in most virtualization packages that provide custom scaling, etc.

I will return my pretty "one interface only" new Mac Book retina 12" and close the chapter "Windows on Mac" for this life. There is more to do than trying the impossible.

So if there were any bootcamp drivers installed on it, well I'll never know. In the meantime, my network adapter problem has been solved. I clicked on 'network controllers' and asked it to update the drivers. I chose Broadcom But here it is! Maybe apple needs to wake up?
