It worked on Watchdogs 1 as I added some of the missing DLLs in the application folder, so I assumed that it would work on the other apps as well. Although there were other DLLs that had a status of "module has missing imports".
This particular DLL was causing a problem in all the apps. And the surprising thing was that some apps reported its error as "module has missing imports" while the others reported it as "module could not be found". Hence I gave replacing that DLL a try but now it has been restored with the initial original file. And there also has been a windows update after that.
